Saturday Community Breakfast -- 9:30am 

On Saturday mornings our Community Kitchen is humming!  Each Saturday we share a delicious hot breakfast with all who happen to drop by for conversation, food, and friendship.  

Food Share -- First Sundays of the Month

On the first Sunday of the month, we invite folks to bring in some canned goods or other non-perishable items as thanks for all that Christ has done for us.  As we take communion, we are reminded that we are to be the heart and hands of Christ in our world today.  Food is collected in the Wishing Well in the Narthex of the church and taken to Waldport FoodShare to bless those who are facing food insecurity.  

Seashore Family Literacy

We partner with Seashore Family Literacy and have folks who volunteer their time to assist the Seashore Children with afterschool reading, preparation of snacks, and positive mentoring.  

South Lincoln Resources 

We partner with South Lincoln Resources to be part of neighbor helping neighbor in the event of emergency situations.  Emergency voucher assistance is provided on Wednesdays from 1:00pm-3:00pm.    Identification in the form of a driver's license and verification of doctor appointment is needed to request a gas voucher to travel to a doctor's appointment.  A utility shut-off notice and proof of residence are required for one time assistance on utilities.  

The Chase Family in Cambodia

We have had a long, positive relationship with Jeremy and Maria Chase and their family while they have served as missionaries to Cambodia.  We have watched Lucia, Owen and Jonas grow up "on line".  We celebrate the possibility of "going to the ends of the earth" with the Good News through our partnership with the Chase family.  We love reading their adventures in Bible story-telling with Cambodian friends and persons of peace.  

PCUSA Mission Emphases

We support the four major mission emphases of the larger Presbyterian Church USA by participating in their four key mission offerings during the year:  One Great Hour of Sharing, Pentecost Offering, Peace & Global Witness, and Christmas Joy.  Participation in these offerings helps us reach out here at home to children at risk, as well as beyond our local community to become part of a larger global witness.  We are able to help make God's Kingdom come and God's will be done by partnering with the larger church!
